I've been teaching since 2001 and held a variety of jobs in a variety of locations. I've taught all levels of secondary English Language Arts (Grades 6-12) and have held teaching licenses in Nebraska, Iowa and California. I received my AS from Cottey College, my BA in English Education with a minor in Educational Technology from the University of Northern Iowa, and my MA in Educational Technology from San Diego State University.
I am currently a Media Specialist for Las Virgenes Unified School District and my focus is on technology integration. I have also taught online web design courses for California Virtual Academies, and currently teach both graduate and undergraduate level courses in Educational Technology at California Lutheran University.
